Shannon Ryan
Shannon’s yoga journey began with a single class in Toronto—where she instantly felt a deep connection to the practice and was hooked! That first class sparked a passion that led her to dive deep into training, earning certifications in Yin, Restorative, Meditation, Prenatal, and Vinyasa yoga. She loves blending intuitively guided movement with mindset, weaving meaningful messages into each class.
Her teaching focuses on helping students connect with their heart centre while guiding them safely through practice. For Shannon, yoga isn’t just about poses—it’s about self-discovery, growth, and finding your path (sometimes upside down!). She’s deeply grateful to share this practice with our community, creating a space for connection, balance, growth and joy.
Description
Awakened Vinyasa Flow is a gentle, intuition-led movement practice that invites you to listen inward and move from your own embodied wisdom. This class offers guided invitations that support you in sensing what your body is asking for in each moment. Movement may be fluid, slow, grounding, or exploratory - always shaped by breath, presence, and inner awareness.
This is a space to soften mental striving, release external expectations, and reconnect with your natural rhythm. You are encouraged to rest, adapt, or pause whenever needed.
This practice supports:
~ Reconnecting with bodily intuition
~ Cultivating trust in inner guidance
~ Moving with choice rather than force
~ Feeling more at home in your body
Suitable for those seeking a mindful, non-performative flow practice rooted in knowing yourself.
