Allison (RYT 200) is a wife, girl mom, grandmother, nature lover and adventure seeker. Allison received her 200-RYT certification in August 2019 from Purple Lotus Yoga. She found her love for yoga purely by accident in 2012 when she was looking to change up my usual workout routine. As she attended classes, workshops and retreats she found that there was so much more to yoga than just the physical aspect and started noticing a change in her mental well-being and overall health. While she loves a sweaty power flow class, she also enjoy a nice relaxing restorative class and pretty much everything in between! Allison hopes to share her love for yoga with others as she continues to grow in her own practice. When she's not on the mat, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places, reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
Description
Empower Hour will focus on working through traditional postures, seated and standing, by matching breath to movement throughout the practice. Class will start with slow centering techniques, including stress release and intention-setting, in order to get the most out of the practice and carry the benefit throughout the rest of our day/week. This class will move with intention incorporating poses that focus on larger muscle groups in controlled movements to build foundation and encourage grounding. This class is specifically designed to allow you to tap into your own power, mentally and physically. You will leave this practice feeling centered, encouraged, and ready to move in and through the world with confidence and strength, recognizing that you already have all that you will ever need, that you are enough. The class is suitable for all levels, and modifications will be explained to allow for decreasing or increasing levels of practice.

Leah (E-RYT 200, RYT 500) has practiced yoga, off and on, for 25 years, but in 2018 decided to gain more knowledge about the actual history and lifestyle of yoga by pursuing her 200-hour teacher training. She loved the training so much that in 2019, she completed another round of training and is now a registered 500-hour instructor. Her desire is to bring positive energy and compassion to the mat for everyone from beginner level to advanced. Leah loves the ancient teachings and sharing how yoga can help with healing both physically and mentally, from physical and/or emotional trauma, and how yoga is a powerful tool for achieving overall health. Yoga is wonderful exercise, but there is so much more to gain than physical fitness! Leah is certified in Yin, Restorative and Trauma Informed Yoga. We'll discuss the meaning and significance of this month's full moon, practice chandra namaskar (moon salutations) together, enjoy savasana with moon meditation, and end the evening with a burning ritual to release what no longer serves us. Everyone is welcome to the studio for this in-person event.

Bailee is a Certified 200 HR Yoga Instructor, who completed her training with Practice Everywhere. She initially started her fitness journey three years ago after her third child was born. She fell in love with her routine, the results and how it made her feel! Her true passion is Power Yoga. Bailee believes building strength on your mat will prepare you for those hard moments off the mat. She has a desire to share that showing up for yourself is half the battle! The other half is giving yourself grace.
Description
Power Yoga with Bailee is an active-full body vinyasa based class open to all levels. We will be moving breath to movement, incorporating intervals, and focusing on alignment, strength and mobility. The series will end on September 19 with a chakra meditation- and full chakra sound bath.We will use gentle yoga stretching, meditation and sound healing (such as the ocean drum, crystal singing bowls, tuning forks) to open the body’s subtle energy and encourage the release of blockages. Allow yourself to find peace, harmony and balance within. This class is appropriate for all levels. Attend one or all. $10/class or included with pass or punch card

Description
Perfect for getting over that mid-week hump, Reset + Restore is a great combination of active movement and active rest. About half of this class will focus on stretching and flowing through common foundational poses both seated and standing, while matching breath to movement. The second half of this class will focus on restorative yoga, a form of active rest in which the mind, body, and spirit are given the time and space to renew, recharge, and restore. This practice centers on slowing down, centering, and heart-opening through passive stretching. We practice stillness and very gentle movement for extended periods of time throughout the practice through fully supported poses that are each held for 3-5 minutes. This class will also spend time practicing Mindful Meditation with a focus on the awareness of our senses and feelings without interpretation or judgment. Practicing Mindful Meditation incorporates breathing techniques and meditation practices to help relax the body, clear the mind, ease the spirit, and reduce stress.
