In this Mindfulness Meditation class, I will be introducing you to a variety of mindfulness meditation practices. This class is perfect for beginners or practitioners alike.
Depending on the subject I have planned for class, I may include one or two meditations. I will always guide you in the meditations with prompts.
After we conclude our practice, I invite you to a mindful sharing of our experiences. I am always happy to answer any questions that you may have about your meditation practice.

2/6 - Calming for the Heart is our theme. This is a 56 minute session recorded on Saturday at the studio. Our sound bath leads us to the center of our heart. This is the place where love and spirit are joined. Let the sound and vibrations take you there.

The main method I use is mindfulness but will incorporate other types of meditation.

Come for an afternoon of meditation and sound.
I will be offering individual seated sound energy healing along with the walking the heart-shaped labyrinth lit with candles which will be open at 2:30 pm. At different points in the labyrinth, there will be small singing bowls, and other items placed for you to sound and chime.
You can stay in the room to sit in meditation while others walk and/or receive healing.
At 3:15 pm, we will shift as I present a sound bath.
This sound bath will use Crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, but I may use other instruments, like gongs, chimes, monochord, drum, and more.
Enjoy the journey of sound where you are completely bathed in the gentle, healing vibrations.
For the sound bath, you can sit or lie on the floor supported by various props, yoga mats, blankets, bolsters, heated rice bags, eye pillows, and sand bags to bring comfort to the body. These are available at the studio.
I would recommend for additional comfort, you may wish to bring your own yoga mat, pillow, and blankets.
Space is limited.

NOTE: Outside door is unlocked 10 minutes before class and will be locked again at the start of class so be sure to come early.
The main method I teach is mindfulness but I will at times incorporate other types of meditation into our class sessions.
This may include Sound Meditation. Be aware that this is more of a meditation session, rather than a sound bath. I will be guiding the meditation and will incorporate the Tibetan singing bowls as we practice mindful listening coupled with a unique activity to make it more interactive. These will be noted on the title of the class on a specific date.
In addition to that, I will also hold a Sound Bath on occasion which would be 30-minute session with multiple singing bowls and instruments. This also will be noted in the title of the class on a specific date.
Otherwise, there may be one or two meditations in each session with time allotted for sharing and the opportunity to ask questions to get support for your personal practice. All meditations will be guided by the instructor.
Class will be 45 minutes with time allotted for answering your questions about your meditation practice.
Fee: $12.00 per each week's class or Studio Membership
