In this Mindfulness Meditation class, I will be introducing you to a variety of mindfulness meditation practices. This class is perfect for beginners or practitioners alike.
Depending on the subject I have planned for class, I may include one or two meditations. I will always guide you in the meditations with prompts.
After we conclude our practice, I invite you to a mindful sharing of our experiences. I am always happy to answer any questions that you may have about your meditation practice.
30-45 minutes depending on questions and comments.

The author of Self-Compassion follows up her groundbreaking book with new ideas that expand our notion of self-kindness and its capacity to transform our lives, showing women how to balance tender self-acceptance with fierce action to claim their power and change the world.
Kristin Neff changed how we talk about self-care with her enormously popular first book, Self-Compassion. Now, ten years and many studies later, she expands her body of work to explore a brand-new take on self-compassion. Although kindness and self-acceptance allow us to be with ourselves as we are, in all our glorious imperfection, the desire to alleviate suffering at the heart of this mindset isn't always gentle, sometimes it's fierce. We must also act courageously in order to protect ourselves from harm and injustice, say no to others so we can meet our own needs, and motivate necessary change in ourselves and society. Description
Join us for our Monthly Saturday Meditation Circle, a unique experience where we begin with a guided meditation on mindfulness practices, followed by a moment of sharing. The session then progresses to an interactive exercise that involves meditation cards and singing bowls. Each person chooses a Tibetan singing bowl and directed to a specific area in the room to follow the instructions on the card. The instructions include the position (sitting with the bowl in lap or hand, lying down with the bowl at head or belly, etc.), a technique for playing the bowl, and a set of positive affirmations.
Experience your meditative mind in new and exciting ways! Sound and vibration from a bowl will teach the mind to focus and remind the body to relax so you can quickly and easily reap all the benefits of meditation time.

Harmonious Integration Workshop
"Embracing Inner Balance and Self-Compassion"
Saturday, April 22nd at 2:00-4:00 pm
Embark on a transformative journey that nurtures your mind, body, and spirit through a unique blend of meditation, breathwork, restorative yoga, sound healing, journaling, and group sharing. This holistic class is designed to foster deep self-awareness, cultivate inner peace, and promote personal growth.
The workshop will be structured as follows:
1. Guided Meditation: Participants will begin with a guided meditation to calm the mind, relax the body, and set intentions for the session. This will create a safe and supportive atmosphere for the healing process.
2. Breathwork: Following the meditation, participants will engage in a series of breathwork exercises to release tension, enhance mental clarity, and promote emotional balance.
3. Restorative Yoga: With a focus on gentle, supportive postures, participants will be guided through a restorative yoga sequence that encourages deep relaxation, stress relief, and physical rejuvenation.
4. Sound Healing: After the restorative yoga, participants will be immersed in a soothing sound healing session, incorporating instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, or chimes. This experience will help to release energetic blockages, harmonize the body's energy centers, and facilitate a deeper connection with the inner self.
5. Reflective Journaling: Following the sound healing, participants will be prompted to journal about their experiences, emotions, and insights gained during the session. This reflective exercise will encourage self-exploration and enhance personal growth.
6. Group Sharing: To conclude the class, participants will be given the opportunity to share their journal entries, insights, or experiences with one another in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. This sharing session will foster a sense of community, promote empathy, and empower individuals to embrace their unique journeys toward holistic well-being.
By combining these powerful practices, this "Harmonious Wholeness" class offers participants a comprehensive approach to self-care and personal development that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit in unison.

Description

Join us for our Sunday Meditation Circle, a unique experience where we begin with a guided meditation on mindfulness practices, followed by a moment of sharing. The session then progresses to an interactive exercise that involves meditation cards and singing bowls. Each person chooses a Tibetan singing bowl and directed to a specific area in the room to follow the instructions on the card. The instructions include the position (sitting with the bowl in lap or hand, lying down with the bowl at head or belly, etc.), a technique for playing the bowl, and a set of positive affirmations.
Experience your meditative mind in new and exciting ways! Sound and vibration from a bowl will teach the mind to focus and remind the body to relax so you can quickly and easily reap all the benefits of meditation time.
45 minutes
Fee: $12.00 per each week's class or Studio Membership
NOTE: Outside door is unlocked 10 minutes before class and will be locked again at the start of class so be sure to come early.

Description
These sessions help to bring relaxation to your mind and body and de-stress from your busy life. Sessions are a guided rest meditation (yoga nidra) with gentle sound healing added at the midpoint to soothe and bring additional calm.
We may start off with warming up our joints and short seated practice, then move into the practice where you can lie down.
Class meditation varies each week of what is offered as you lie on a yoga mat with blankets, bolsters, and other props.
Fee: $15 or Membership
