Got a case of the Mondays!?
Enjoy a reclined sound and visualization journey in our sanctuary!
No yoga experience needed, no flexibility required. Crystal singing bowls, beautiful, hand-crafted gongs, guided imagery, and intentional silence take you somewhere the thinking mind rarely gets to go, into a calmer, more spacious state of being.
This is restoration at the subconscious level ... quieter than talk, deeper than stretching. A reset for the parts of you that are tired in ways a vacation can't fix, held by something beautiful for an hour.
Nervous System Reset
Subconscious Integration
Who this is for: Anyone who just needs to rest, receive, and be held by something beautiful — new to yoga or seasoned, it doesn't matter here.
How you'll feel: Quieter inside. Gently returned to yourself.

Amber Fleming
Amber Fleming is a self-taught herbalist, forager, medicine maker, and owner of Earth's Essentials Apothecary in Ferrum, Virginia.
Her journey into natural wellness began in 2017 when she set out to take a more active role in her own health and step away from the pharmaceutical roller coaster. Through years of studying herbalism, homeopathic remedies, nutrition, and holistic healing modalities, Amber developed a deep appreciation for the body's ability to heal when given the proper support.
In 2020, Amber and her family purchased property on the side of a mountain in Ferrum, opening the door to a deeper relationship with the natural world. What began as an interest in herbs quickly grew into a passion for growing, wildcrafting, and utilizing many of the common plants and "weeds" that thrive throughout Appalachia. She is especially passionate about helping others discover the nutritional and medicinal value hidden in their own backyards.
As part of her personal healing journey, Amber became Reiki II certified and trained as a 5NP (Five Needle Protocol) AcuDetox Practitioner. She hosts weekly community 5NP sessions in Rocky Mount and provides free community treatments through shelters, harm reduction programs, and underserved populations in Franklin County and Martinsville.
Through Earth's Essentials Apothecary, Amber creates small-batch herbal products and offers workshops focused on foraging, herbal medicine, and traditional remedy making. Her mission is to help people reconnect with nature, gain confidence in caring for themselves and their families, and recognize that wellness doesn't have to be complicated. By sharing practical plant knowledge and fostering a deeper respect for the earth, she hopes to inspire others to see that everything is connected.

Description
A special edition of our Mind–Body Reset class combining slow, restorative movement with acupuncture for a deeper nervous system reset.
We’ll begin with gentle yin-inspired movement and supported restorative positions, giving the body time to soften rather than push. Longer, comfortable holds can help reduce guarding, improve body awareness and invite the nervous system out of constant “brace mode.”
Then, while you settle into a deeply supported resting position, Amber Fleming will offer a gentle acupuncture experience designed to complement the class and support relaxation, regulation and overall well-being.
Together, the combination of mindful movement, breath, stillness and acupuncture creates space for the body to downshift, release unnecessary tension and reconnect with a greater sense of ease.
Mind–Body Connection
Nervous System Reset
Gentle Yin + Restorative Movement
Acupuncture Experience
Subconscious Integration
**Who this is for:** Anyone living with chronic pain, persistent tension, recurring symptoms, stress or a body that has a hard time settling. No flexibility or fitness level required.
How you’ll feel: Grounded, softened and deeply settled. Like your whole system finally got permission to stop holding everything up.

Description
Move better by understanding how your body moves.
Each week, Jeremy takes a focused look at a different area of the body, movement pattern, or common imbalance and guides you through practical exercises designed to improve mobility, stability, coordination, and functional movement.
One week might focus on hips. Another on shoulders, posture, spinal mobility, feet, balance, or the way your breath influences movement. Rather than pushing through restriction or simply stretching what feels tight, you’ll explore what may be contributing to the pattern and learn smarter ways to work with your body.
Expect a combination of mobility work, targeted strengthening, breath awareness, and functional movement you can actually use outside the studio.

Jasmine English
Jasmine is a Roanoke, Virginia native, Certified Reiki Energy Practitioner, Sound Healer, and Herbalist with three years of experience in facilitating sound healing experiences. Her work is deeply rooted in her own healing journey and her commitment to living a more holistic, intentional life.
Her path into sound healing began through her own healing journey and a desire to cultivate a deeper ancestral connection beyond traditional spiritual practices. As she explored her own inner-child healing, she began to understand the importance of slowing down, turning inward, and reconnecting with herself on a deeper level. Along the way, she discovered the transformative power of sound, meditation, energy work, and simply creating intentional space to be present. She believes healing is not about fixing who we are, but remembering who we’ve always been.
Her teaching style is nurturing, intuitive, and deeply intentional. Each experience is thoughtfully guided with the intention of supporting the whole person and creating space for deep, full-body healing and restoration.

This afternoon sound bath is an invitation to step away from the noise, get comfortable, and let yourself be still for a while. Jasmine will guide you into rest as the tones and vibrations of singing bowls fill the space and gently draw your attention away from everything demanding it.
There is nothing to perform, accomplish, or figure out. Simply settle in, listen, and allow the sound to meet you wherever you are that day.
No meditation or sound-healing experience is needed. Comfortable supports and props are available.
How you’ll feel: Rested, quieter inside, and ready to meet the rest of the week with a little more space.

Description
If you’ve been telling yourself you’re too stiff, too out of shape, too unsteady, too old, too injured, or just “not what you used to be,” this class was made with you in mind.
You do not need to be flexible. You do not need to know yoga. You do not need to prove anything.
You just need to show up as you are.
Drawing on 18 years of teaching experience, including professional experience teaching yoga and chair yoga at local hospital group, Carilion Wellness, Page offers a supportive, practical approach to movement that meets you where you are today and helps you build from there.
We’ll work with balance, gentle strengthening, mobility, breath, coordination, and body awareness in ways that translate directly into real life: getting up and down more confidently, feeling steadier on your feet, trusting your body again, and moving through the world with less hesitation.
Even our historic studio gives us something interesting to work with. The sanctuary floor has a gentle natural incline, creating subtle new challenges for balance, spatial awareness, coordination, and proprioception as your confidence grows.
But this is not about pushing through or keeping up.
It’s about discovering what your body can do now, not comparing it to what it could do five, ten, or twenty years ago.
**Good for:** Beginners, active aging, returning to movement after time away, injury recovery, rebuilding strength and balance, and anyone who wants to feel more capable and confident in their body.
No Experience Needed
Never done yoga? Perfect. Haven’t exercised in years? You’re still welcome.
Zero Performance Pressure
Move at your own pace. Rest when you need to. Use a chair. Modify. Ask for help. There is no “behind” in this room.
ADA Accommodations
Chairs, props, modifications, and assistance are available. Please reach out if there’s anything
45-Minute Class + Breathing Room
We leave a 15-minute buffer before and after class so you have time to arrive, get settled, ask questions, and leave without feeling rushed.
*How you’ll feel: A little steadier. A little stronger. More trusting of your body. And maybe surprised by what you’re still capable of.
Because the goal isn’t to move like you used to.
It’s to feel good moving through the life you’re living now.
*Medical clearance may be required in some cases.*

Description
Weekly donation-based offering of a shared meditative environment and instructional class for anyone seeking enhanced peace and contentment in their life. Whatever your age, faith background or personal beliefs, anyone can learn to cultivate tranquility and mindfulness through meditation. The benefits to our mental and physical health are confirmed by research – increased attention span, reduced stress, better sleep, greater self awareness and insight. This class provides foundational instruction in focused awareness meditation. Beginners and experienced meditators welcome.
The class will begin with meditation instruction and seated meditation, followed by walking meditation, a short reading and discussion. The seated meditation will be guided at first to assist in settling the mind. The guidance will taper off, giving way to silence and the opportunity for independent practice. This class aims to provide the foundation needed to establish a silent, unguided meditation practice.
Seated meditation may be performed sitting on the ground or in a chair. The teacher will assist with finding a supportive, comfortable position for the body, using whatever props and aids necessary. Chairs, bolsters and blankets are available for use. Feel free to bring your own cushions.

Get off early on Friday? Perfect. Come back to yourself before the weekend takes over.
Skip the rush-hour traffic and spend 45 minutes unwinding instead. Gentle stretching, breathwork, mindful movement, and deep relaxation help you shake off the workweek, soften tension, and shift out of go-go-go mode.
You’ll be out by 5:00, refreshed and ready for dinner, happy hour, date night, or absolutely nothing at all. 😉
No intensity. No performance. Just a better way to start your Friday night.

Settle into supported restorative shapes while sound bowls, guided meditation, breath, and intentional silence help the body unwind and the mind finally stop gripping the day.
This is less about doing and more about receiving. A full-hour exhale in the sanctuary designed to help you release tension, quiet the nervous system, and drift into a deeper state of self.
No yoga experience needed. No flexibility required. Just come as you are and let yourself be held by something beautiful for a while.
Nervous System Reset
Subconscious Integration
Deep Rest
Who this is for: Anyone who wants to close out the week feeling calmer, softer, and more like themselves again.
How you’ll feel: Grounded. Spacious. Restored. Ready for a night out, or a sound night's sleep.

Page Turner Gordon, CCHt
Page Turner Gordon is the founder of Renewal Studios Roanoke, creator of HypnoYoga®, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, yoga teacher, mind-body educators and bestselling author of Pain Reset Without Pills.
Page has spent nearly two decades exploring the connection between the mind, body, nervous system and subconscious, but her teaching philosophy is simple: there is no single “right” way to practice.
Her classes blend mindful and somatic movement, breathwork, meditation, sound, guided imagery and hypnosis in ways that invite curiosity rather than perfection. Expect less emphasis on performing poses and more opportunity to notice, explore, regulate, reconnect and discover what your own body is telling you.
Page teaches everyone from complete beginners to longtime practitioners and believes the most valuable tools are the ones you can actually take with you when you leave the studio.
Her approach in three words?
Connect. Regulate. Integrate.
Because ultimately, your greatest support is within.

Shu Heru
Shu has been teaching wholistic wellness for a little over 4 years; Yoga, meditation, breathwork, energy healing modalities, and more! At 28 years old, with almost 10 years of personal meditation experience.
His Journey back to self has been a life long journey. But a very pivotal moment at 19 years old changed his life forever, he calls it nothing short of divine intervention. He was tired of where his life was and his only natural instinct one night was to just sit in a dark room in silence and close his eyes. That very moment lead him to explore his own consciousness through his own breath, leading him to look nowhere else but within.
Shu specializes in many things but offers kemetic yoga, anciently known as SMAI TAWI, to shed light on a Ancient Practice and showing people the Root of the Practice we all love- YOGA
Shu teaches from pure authenticity and personal experience, making a class session with him a truly euphoric experience for everyone involved!
