Learn the way of the Qi Energy Wheel: The Qi Energy Wheel method quickly washes and clears our energy field. It releases held stress and it brings harmony back to mind and body. It also takes one from the head to the heart (to open hearted awareness). This is a valuable doorway to Mushin in Japanese and Wuxin in Chinese (無心 "no mind”). It’s also a way of developing intuition.

Part two of this short practice is the energy directing or replenishment of Qi to the body's main energy storage centre known as the lower Dantian (丹田, meaning “the elixir of life field”).

In Japanese traditions, the lower dantian is the area of the Hara (腹; Chinese: fù). It houses your vital energy, power and essence. The lower dantian holds primary importance as it nourishes the upper and middle Dan Tian.

The lower Dan Tian has many different synonyms. It's commonly known as the centre of gravity or Tanden energy centre of the body or even the second brain. In internal martial arts it is one of the most important areas in the body. The dantian stores qi and drives it throughout the body.

A master of calligraphy, swordsmanship, tea ceremony, martial arts or comparable disciplines is guided to move or “act from the hara." Likewise when in the midst of stress or anxiety we are advice to ‘slow down, turn inward and move from the lower dantian.’

Beginners very welcome. No previous experience is required.
