Heather is a meditation and yoga teacher and former Buddhist nun who combines 25 years of meditation training with a lifelong interest in mental and physical health. She finds joy in community and teaches from the heart with warmth, compassion, and humor.

In this 90-minute session, we'll begin with gentle movement (yoga and qigong blend), transition to yoga nidra to develop inner stillness and inquiry, and finally conclude with a guided meditation.
Yoga Nidra, often referred to as “yogic sleep,” is a guided relaxation practice that induces a state of conscious awareness between wakefulness and sleep, promoting deep relaxation and psychological rejuvenation.
This session is suitable for anyone interested in finding peace in their body and mind, reducing mental confusion and fear and living to their fullest human potential. The movement (yoga) portion will be a simple warm up suitable for all abilities. Beginners are very welcome.
