She completed her 200-hour training in Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga in India, and brings grounding energy and a calm, steady presence to her teaching.
Ella is currently part of the VAYA Yoga Studio teaching team, where she shares her Hatha and Ashtanga-inspired practice while she’s in the area.

SWAVE Balance ®
A dynamic and energizing class that combines elements of fitness, yoga, and breathwork to strengthen stability, balance, core strength, and coordination on a balance board. This practice engages the body’s deep stabilizing muscles as you continually work to maintain balance, activating muscles you may not typically engage in other forms of exercise.
Designed to improve surf balance, SWAVE Balance helps enhance coordination and body control, crucial for maintaining stability on the surfboard. By constantly adjusting to stay balanced on the board, you train your deep core muscles and stabilizing muscles, which are essential for improving overall balance and posture. Charlotte Waugh
Charlotte is a 500 certified yoga teacher from Arohan Yoga (2021) and Himalayan Yoga Association (2025) in Rishikesh India, plus an additional 30hr Yoga Anatomy certification online from Laura Goellner (2023). She loves learning just as much as teaching, because to teach is to learn; so no doubt these won’t be her last certifications.
Charlotte has 4 years experience teaching and 10 years of personal practice. She loves teaching Hatha and Yin yoga, and recently has been discovering ways to incorporate fun varieties and sequences involving primal movement and mobility routines.
She believes in the importance that we should enjoy and look forward to our movement practice or exercise, instead of feeling like we need to tick it off like a chore done. Instead of focusing on the goal, she will help you take away the pressure to achieve, and fully embrace your perfectly imperfect individuality in the present moment. Just as we welcome fast paced movement, we must also balance ourselves with stillness, which can be mentally challenging for many. This is where we can benefit from Yin Yoga and accept that both are as important as the other.

Marie is an experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 500, Yoga Alliance) who has been deeply immersed in the practice of yoga for over a decade. Her path has taken her across the globe—from India to Indonesia—where she explored yoga not only as a physical discipline but as a way of living and being.

Charlotte has 4 years experience teaching and 10 years of personal practice. She loves teaching Hatha and Yin yoga, and recently has been discovering ways to incorporate fun varieties and sequences involving primal movement and mobility routines.

Instead of focusing on the goal, she will help you take away the pressure to achieve, and fully embrace your perfectly imperfect individuality in the present moment. This gentle evening class offers a grounding space to unwind, release tension, and reconnect with yourself after a long day. With slow, intentional movement and longer-held postures, it encourages deep relaxation and a sense of inner calm. You’ll move through classical Hatha asanas with mindful attention to breath and alignment, allowing the nervous system to settle and the body to soften.
Rather than flowing, we move with awareness – each posture becomes an invitation to slow down and fully arrive in the present moment. Suitable for all levels, especially those seeking a steady, calming way to end the day with clarity and ease.
