This slow to medium paced Vinyasa flow session will leave you fully present in your body. We use well-rounded sequencing to help explore movement patterns and general body awareness. A guided relaxation during rest will ensure you receive the chance to reset the body and mind.
This 5 week program is an opportunity to gradually familiarize yourself with the fundamentals from a yoga and modified Ashtanga practice. We will look at how to connect the breath with movements in the body, basic breathing exercises, basic philosophy of yoga, Ashtanga mantras and alignment of fundamental postures. This is perfect for those totally new to the practice of yoga or Ashtanga or if you have issues of limited mobility.
Rocket Vibe is a modified Ashtanga practice based on sequencing from Larry Schultz, an original student of Sri K Pattabhi Jois. This class focuses on creative sequencing in Vinyasa Flow style inspired from the Rocket 1-3 series. Each class during the month will have a unique flow focus on opening and strengthening different areas for the body. This is a challenging but fun practice that can also be modified for any level.
