Join Mary on the Winter Solstice—the shortest day, the longest night, and the quiet turning point of a new cycle. This is the perfect time to nourish and rest, conserving our energies ready for the return of the light. Think of this as an embodiment of the Winter Solstice and nature herself.

At Grow Yoga, we hope to inspire a deeper connection to the ancient rhythms that live both in the earth and in your own body. In this world of hustle and bustle, it is our job to inspire and support your reconnection to mother nature and the natural rhythms. It is from this place that we can step into life with more energy and understanding.

What to Expect

Our Solstice morning practice is a soothing blend of meditative movement and Yin Yoga, a style influenced by Traditional Chinese Medicine. Expect long, restful holds that melt tension, nourish fascia, and shift energy.

Think of Yin as a ritual of grounding—a tender way to greet the morning with presence instead of urgency.

This class is open to all levels.

A yoga class to help the mothers take some space. We have recently changed this class to an adult only environment, to support you to lay the responsibilities of home life at the door. We are welcoming in pregnant people, those with tiny babies and those that had their children many years ago; if you’ve experienced loss or abortion; if you’re a carer. However it is for you to Mother - you are so welcome here. This is a space for you to be tended to and receive care and connection.

This class is designed to support our ever changing bodies as we move through all phases of Motherhood. We rest deeply.

This class is to bring all of our experiences of Motherhood together and there will be variations offered to best support you in the moment.
I hope this class offers some really needed time to yourself but if you would like to bring your baby please contact us to arrange a one to one or two to one if you would like - we really want to support you in this time!

The small class size makes sure that you receive individual attention.

We support the pelvic floor and core and offer release for constricted areas; we work with the breath to bring a sense of spaciousness and ease. If you’re pregnant all movement will be there to support you and help in the birth of your baby. We believe postpartum care should extend for many years after birth.

Each class finishes with a long period of fully supported rest through the use of props or yoga nidra.
