Heat Mula Flow is our signature sequence within a 7 class programme working through the Chakra system. This practice introduces the Muladhara Chakra or the Root chakra and is grounding, balancing and centering.
Heat Mula is a dynamic Yoga flow sequence that works with the lower body; strengthening ankles and legs in our standing balances, offering postures to work with hip opening and pelvic stabilisation, as well as providing release for the lower back and glutes.
This practice can be challenging for beginners, but if you are comfortable and have good body awareness please take it at your own pace, taking rests when you need to. For all practitioners please respect your own body in this sequence and observe any medical conditions and injuries.
It would be handy to have a block, bolster and strap for this practice, but if you don't have these then a thick book, a thick pillow or belt work just as well.
