Join us for a Yoga workshop to 'Open your Creative intuition to all that is around you’ on and off the mat!
This workshop is a beautifully fluid and dynamic lunar flow sequence to acknowledge the Full Moon and revolves around the areas of the lower body to aid with pelvic weakness or instability, tight hips and stiff lower back.
By introducing the sacral and root chakras, we will focus on fluidity, creativity, receptiveness, inspiration and spontaneity, all of which is governed from the sacral region, as we balance, stabilise and open the hips & pelvis.
By delving into a Lunar Flow sequence, we will explore balancing the masculine & feminine energies and left & right sides of the body. As we awaken to potential and listen to intuition, the gateway to creativity, we pave the way for intention to arise. Our focus will lead to an affirmation of ‘I am creative / I am sensual’.
Our workshop will offer the following:
- Receive health benefits of mudras (hand gestures)
- Learn mantras and meditation techniques to clear and balance the Sacral (Swadisthana) and Root (Muladhara) Chakras
- Set an intention that aligns with your current circumstances for creativity, balance and fluidity, not only on the mat, but your daily life
- Pranayama (breath control) techniques to increase focus towards creativity
- Access the 'Flow State' through Yoga on and off the mat
- Learn the fluid and flowing Chandra Namaskar – Lunar Salutations
- Focus on breath led movement through a dynamic flow
- Attention to alignment and biomechanics of the physical body during asana with detailed verbal alignment cues and hands on assist
- Introduction of the Vayus and Chakra System – the subtle energies of the body
- Deeper understanding of the Mula Bandha (pelvic floor lock)
- Deep relaxation in Savasana with lavender eye pillows

- Mats, blocks and straps are provided in a serene and tranquil studio space
- Beginners to yoga are welcome to join if you seek a dynamic practice, but better suited to improvers or intermediate practitioners
- This workshop is limited to 10 people only, please reserve your space in advance
