A 25min sequence for anyone who suffers with back pain, tight and tense muscles or joints in the spine. This sequence is safe, gentle and easy to do if you are new to yoga and/or functional movement. A great morning sequence that you can even do from bed before you get up to start your day. Or, at the end of a long day sitting or standing.

We focus on the four movements of the spine: spinal rotation (twists), lateral flexion and extension (side stretches), spinal flexion (forward bend) and spinal extension (back bend) whilst bearing aware of your breathing rhythm and any feelings and sensations you experience.

Please take these exercises at your own pace there is no need to force a stretch or mobilisation. If you suffer from pain in the spine please visit a medical professional to advise what you should and should not do with your back.
