Shona Adamus

Shona is a Pilates teacher, mover, and outdoor enthusiast whose teaching is inspired by a love of nature and the way mindful movement can help us feel stronger, more capable, and more connected- whether that’s climbing, surfing, hiking, mountain biking or simply moving through everyday life.

Through Move Wild Pilates, she blends functional strength, mobility, and body awareness with an appreciation for the freedom and joy of movement. Her background in Sports Science with Outdoor Activities brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to her teaching, balancing science with intuition.

Her classes are grounded, inclusive, and designed for every body. Shona believes movement should support your adventures, not restrict them- helping you build the strength and control to do more of what you love, for longer.

Expect thoughtful teaching, a focus on quality over perfection, and a good dose of warmth, humour and encouragement along the way. 🌿
