Leah (E-RYT 200, RYT 500) has practiced yoga, off and on, for 25 years, but in 2018 decided to gain more knowledge about the actual history and lifestyle of yoga by pursuing her 200-hour teacher training. She loved the training so much that in 2019, she completed another round of training and is now a registered 500-hour instructor. Her desire is to bring positive energy and compassion to the mat for everyone from beginner level to advanced. Leah loves the ancient teachings and sharing how yoga can help with healing both physically and mentally, from physical and/or emotional trauma, and how yoga is a powerful tool for achieving overall health. Yoga is wonderful exercise, but there is so much more to gain than physical fitness! Leah is certified in Yin, Restorative and Trauma Informed Yoga. Get your week kicked off right with mindful movement and intention-setting in Leah's 8:30am hatha yoga class. We'll match movement to breath and intention, building just enough heat, and spend time in some quiet, deeper stretches, as well. Emma earned her 200-hour certification from One Soul Yoga in 2023. She started her yoga journey at One Soul in 2021 and fell in love with the atmosphere of the studio and the benefits of yoga. She would love to provide those same feelings for others through her classes - creating a safe, judgment-free space to work on our practice. Her other passions are coffee, plants, and books. Her loves are her husband and her dogs!
Description
This yoga class is a gentle flow suitable for any level of student who wishes to spend time soaking in the energies of the studio while stretching the muscles of the body and freeing the mind. Variations and modifications will be offered for most postures in order to be suitable for all levels. We will end the class with an extended savasana and may be outside depending on the weather. Props and mats will be available for this 40 minute class.

Rachel (CYT 500) began practicing yoga in 2014 at Brick House Yoga in Sulphur Springs. She was training for a half-marathon at the time and wanted to use yoga to prevent injury and aid in stress relief to reduce migraine headaches. While a yoga practice was perfect for both of these goals, she found so much more on the mat. Without a doubt, the yoga mat is the first place she has ever experienced complete non-judgment. It is where she learned self-acceptance, presence and stillness--and it is where she started a journey of self-discovery that continues today. In short, yoga changed her life. She holds additional certification in Restorative, Yin and Trauma Informed Yoga and has a special interest in teaching body-positive classes and classes geared for beginners.

Empower Hour will focus on working through traditional postures, seated and standing, by matching breath to movement throughout the practice. Class will start with slow centering techniques, including stress release and intention-setting, in order to get the most out of the practice and carry the benefit throughout the rest of our day/week. This class will move with intention incorporating poses that focus on larger muscle groups in controlled movements to build foundation and encourage grounding. yoga since 1990 in various locations across the globe and has attended and taught yoga retreats in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and overseas in Greece, Costa Rica, Germany, Sweden, Austria, and Italy. Clarice is skilled in Hatha Yoga, familiar with Yin yoga, and restorative yoga. In addition, Clarice holds certification as a Master Herbalist and is interested in Holistic Health and wellness. Clarice feels that yoga and meditation have given her the framework for a healthy happy life, and she enjoys the practice and teachings of yoga. Clarice wants to offer the mobility and flexibility benefits of yoga to everyone. Aging with full mobility and flexibility is a personal goal of hers.

She fell in love with her routine, the results and how it made her feel! Her true passion is Power Yoga. Bailee believes building strength on your mat will prepare you for those hard moments off the mat. She has a desire to share that showing up for yourself is half the battle! Let the stress of your busy day melt away with a very gentle yoga practice set to the soft glow of candles. Candlelight Immersion focuses mainly on seated somatic, self-inquiry and stress-reducing techniques (self-holding, EFT tapping, breathwork) and supine asanas to help you quiet your mind and connect to your body and breath. Have just a few minutes to spare for yoga? Stretch & Flow Express is a shortened version of the 8:00 am class. This 40-minute mid-day class focuses mainly on deep stretching and slow-moving sequences held for several breaths to help loosen the body and reduce tension. The slower pace allows each individual to explore their own postures and alignment to deepen their practice. At times, class will explore meditation and aspects of yin and/or restorative yoga for relaxation and healing. Perfect for those looking to gain flexibility and range of motion. DeAnna McDearmont is a co-owner of One Soul Yoga & Wellness Center in Sulphur Springs, TX and a dedicated Trauma Informed E-RYT 500, YACEP-certified yoga instructor, serving as the lead trainer for Yoga Teacher Training programs. She is a passionate yoga and sound facilitator dedicated to empowering others on their journey to wellness and self-discovery.
As a certified practitioner of Biofield Tuning and Sound Healing, she uses the transformative power of sound and energy to support profound release and shifts in the subtle body. DeAnna brings a wealth of experience and a nurturing approach to every class, retreat, and sound healing session she facilitates at One Soul.
Holding additional certifications in Kundalini, Meditation, Yin, Restorative, and Trauma-Informed practices, DeAnna blends compassion and expertise in her teaching and offers safe, accessible and nurturing practices for all levels. She empowers students to explore their unique needs by encouraging body awareness and connection with body and mind.
Her teaching philosophy integrates ancient wisdom with modern techniques, inspiring students to deepen their understanding of yoga, sound, and energy work. With a heart-centered approach, DeAnna’s mission is to hold space for personal growth, healing, and connection through yoga, meditation, and sound.

One Soul’s fall retreat, Mystic Soul is scheduled for October 7 and 8, 2023. We invite women from all walks of life to join us as we deepen and expand our personal practice and make time for inner reflection and change. This is the season to ground yourself while cultivating a deep sense of self-worth. This weekend retreat, held at One Soul will give you time to relax, recharge and grow with the seasonal energy through yoga, meditation, sound healing, creation of mystical artwork and connection with others.

Payment Plan:
If you need to pay for your retreat in installments, we are happy to accommodate. We do ask for $50 upon registering. The $50 secures your spot and goes towards your retreat balance. Remainder will be broken into equal payments depending on the date you registered until due date. You will receive text invoice reminders each month. Full payment is due September 22.
Cancellation Policy:
If you choose to cancel between any time on or before September 22, you will receive a refund or account credit minus $50. No refunds or credits if canceled within 14 days (after Sept. 22) of the retreat. We know life happens so if there is an extenuating circumstance, please contact us. If, for any reason, One Soul needs to cancel the retreat you will have a choice of a full refund or credit to your account.

Join one of the One Soul instructors on Saturday morning for Saturday Flow to get your weekend moving. This class will vary each week depending on the instructor but will focus on a sequenced practice that encourages alignment, balance and mind/ body connection. This class will end in a relaxing savasana to help you release and connect within. Saturday Flow is appropriate for all skill levels and variations will be offered to increase or decrease your practice needs.

After many years of contemplating YTT, this was the year it all came together at One Soul for Janeese. Completing the 200 HR teacher training has been one of her most challenging, rewarding and inspiring journeys. She fell in love with yoga from her first class over 15 years ago in McKinney. Over the years she has enjoyed trying a variety of styles of physical practice, but what always kept her returning was the ability yoga gave her to find stillness and quiet her mind. Besides all things yogic, she enjoys her family, hiking, kayaking, art, reading and has a special place in her heart for middle school students.
Description
Restorative Yoga helps you deeply relax into longer held supported asanas (yoga poses). Using bolsters, blankets and blocks you will be guided through a series of poses that supports and activates your parasympathetic nervous system. This class aids in deep relaxation, stress relief and muscle recovery. It will always end in a brief guided meditation and savasana. This class is ideal for all levels.
