YogaFIT (Functional Interval Training) is a carefully designed circuit of yoga inspired body weight movement, TRX training, and weighted exercises combined to increase your strength, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness while decreasing your risk of injury outside of the studio.

Alison H Beard
Alison grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and from an early age was drawn to a variety of athletics that challenged her physical body. While attending her first conscious movement workshop, she was deeply inspired by the potential of movement and dance to support one’s human and spiritual journey of transformation. She is grateful to the lineages of healing that have informed her journey of embodiment along the way, including her trainings in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Biodynamic Cranial Approach, and Azul Conscious Movement. She aspires to continue this path by offering collective ritual dance space for the purposes of healing and inner transformation, for connecting to others, and for giving motion and expression to our human experience.
Description
Dancers Awakening Love is a conscious movement practice that is both lively and restorative, playful and sacred, healing and connecting. We’ll have the opportunity to listen through our bodies and allow our body’s own wisdom and intelligence carry our dance while being supported by a diverse selection of music and a unique theme for each class.

Melanie has been practicing various forms of yoga since 2002 and found that her practice helped her to stay balanced and centered through this journey we call life.
Melanie is also a reiki practitioner and has volunteered as an energy worker at various centers to assist patients through their healing process.
Melanie’s classes bring to you a soothing space filled with healing energy to help restore your mind, body, and spirit.
Her spiritual journey began very early when she found herself questioning things most children (and adults) didn’t seem to notice. As she fumbled her way through young adulthood she began digging deeper and deeper to discover the magic life has to offer through the healing art of yoga, reading and, most importantly, direct experience. She would go on to carve a path for herself that would ultimately bring her to call Maui “home”.
After her first Wisdom Flow class Melanie realized that there had been something fundamentally missing in the prior 20 years of yoga practice and decided to learn the foundational principals from Jennifer Lynn directly. She received her 200 RYT right here at Wisdom Flow, and has gone on to receive additional certifications in Restorative Yoga from Arhanta Academy.

A carefully-paced Vinyasa flow class building heat and cardio strength through cyclical sequences. Clear alignment cues make movement healthy for spine and joints. Building core strength and engaging bandhas is encouraged to free the joints from over compression. Heat from opening flows deepen hip openers and back bends. Karyne Daniels has 40 years experience within the entertainment industry as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer. With an eye for interpretation, presentation, and demonstration, Karyne offers her poetic expertise to every project she pursues.
As a Dancer, Karyne has performed extensively. A few of her credits include being a performer in Las Vegas, Reno, and Lake Tahoe; a featured dancer in the motion picture Dick Tracy with Madonna; a tango dancer in the movie My Blue Heaven with Steve Martin; A freestylist on the TV sitcom “Up All Night” feat. Patti La Belle; and was featured in the Maui Dance Festival 2018 & 2019. She is revered for her poignant solo performances which are emotional & otherworldly.
Description
This class is a beautiful blend of Polynesian dance and urban movement, low impact, beginner friendly, compiled with easy sequences that not only create a feeling of ALOHA, but also generate a wonderful detox. A dreamy musical backdrop of contemporary Hawaiian, reggae, and the fiery drumbeats of Tahiti will leave you feeling free! You may wear anything you feel good dancing in - sarong, dance wear, shorts, barefoot, or tennis shoes. Bring water, your amazing smile, & ALOHA!

He enjoys teaching people tools to live a pain free and active lifestyle for themselves or others.
Description
YogaFIT (Functional Interval Training) is a carefully designed circuit of yoga inspired body weight movement, TRX training, and weighted exercises combined to increase your strength, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness while decreasing your risk of injury outside of the studio.

Heating Yang postures intertwined with classic vinyasa flow work in tandem to bring awareness to the space within the body, while cooling Yin postures help us to move deeper into that space. VinYin is perfect blend of movement and stillness ending with a blissful Savasana.

Diana has been honing her yoga teaching craft since 2003. She first trained to teach under the tutelage of Advaita Vedanta and Vinyasa teacher Sri Louise. She is an Ayurvedic Practitioner Graduate of Mount Madonna College of Ayurveda class of 2009, and she teaches seasonal diet and lifestyle classes, and leads Ayurvedic detoxification cleanse programs. She is also, since 2015, a dedicated student of the teachings of the late BKS Iyengar and Iyengar Yoga. Diana is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and currently studies with Senior Iyengar Yoga mentor Holly Walck Kostura. Yoga and Ayurveda have been essential in Diana’s growth and evolution as a human being. Iyengar yoga has helped her overcome 15 years of chronic back pain and SI joint issues. Yoga & Ayurveda have nourished her with holistic awareness, strength, resiliency, and freedom. Her other loves are her surfing family, 4 pets, Colombian music, kirtan singing, Maui streams, and the preciousness and potentiality of humanity and life.

Yin Yoga is a slow, deep and calming practice. Poses focus on rejuvenating connective tissue (fascia, tendons and ligaments) to enhance your range of motion and flow of energy. Poses are held longer to safely stress the connective tissues. Yin Yoga calms and balances body and mind, increases mobility and flexibility, lowers stress levels and promotes relaxation. Each class ends with a 10-minute crystal bowl sound bath. Yin Yoga is a great complement to yang activities and will vastly improve your ability to sit for meditation.
