In this Mindfulness Meditation class, I will be introducing you to a variety of mindfulness meditation practices. This class is perfect for beginners or practitioners alike.
Depending on the subject I have planned for class, I may include one or two meditations. I will always guide you in the meditations with prompts.
After we conclude our practice, I invite you to a mindful sharing of our experiences. I am always happy to answer any questions that you may have about your meditation practice.

The Tuesday evening session is what I call a "Quiet Vipassana Meditation." This means that it is lightly guided with brief instructions at the beginning after an inspiration is read. Most of the class is held in silence.

Class meditation varies each week of what is offered as you lie on a yoga mat with blankets, bolsters, and other props.

This sound bath will use Crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, but many other instruments, like gongs, chimes, monochord, drum, and more. We may use a mantra to submerge deeper into meditative bliss.
Enjoy the journey of sound where you are completely bathed in the gentle, healing vibrations.
In this session, you can sit or lie on the floor supported by various props, yoga mats, blankets, bolsters, heated rice bags, eye pillows, and sand bags to bring comfort to the body. These are available at the studio. If you want to bring your own to feel comfy, you can.
Space is limited.

Join us for our Sunday Meditation Circle, where we begin with a guided meditation on mindfulness practices, followed by a moment of sharing. The session then progresses to an interactive exercise that involves meditation cards and singing bowls. Each person chooses a Tibetan singing bowl and directed to a specific area in the room to follow the instructions on the card. The instructions include the position (sitting with the bowl in lap or hand, lying down with the bowl at head or belly, etc.), a technique for playing the bowl, and a set of positive affirmations.
Experience your meditative mind in new and exciting ways! Sound and vibration from a bowl will teach the mind to focus and remind the body to relax so you can quickly and easily reap all the benefits of meditation time.
