Ana Pedroso

Armindyoga's classes offer a dynamic and mindful approach to practice — sometimes energetic and fluid, sometimes slow and deeply restorative, always guided with intention. Rooted in the authentic Indian tradition of yoga, yet modern, inclusive, and accessible, his classes invite practitioners of all levels to explore not only movement but also the deeper dimensions of yoga. Through yogic philosophy and subtle practices of prana, bandhas, ujjayi breathing, and drishti, students are encouraged to cultivate awareness, strength, and inner balance.
Armindyoga works in different studios and academies in Lisbon, bringing his expertise to diverse spaces and communities. Throughout his journey, he has also taught in London, Berlin, Italy, and India, enriching his practice with international influences and a deep connection to the roots of yoga.
His message goes beyond the mat: by becoming our best selves, we are better prepared to support our communities, care for our families, respect nature, and be truly present for others.

Descrição
Class in English, with guidance available in Portuguese. This Restorative Yoga class is designed to offer deep rest and conscious relaxation, making it suitable for all levels and especially supportive at the end of a busy week. Unlike more active styles of yoga, the practice focuses on stillness, gentle supported postures, and breath awareness, allowing the body and mind to fully unwind without muscular effort. Using props for complete support, you’ll remain in each posture for several minutes, creating space to release physical tension, calm the nervous system, and reconnect with a sense of ease and balance. Perfect for slowing down, letting go, and transitioning into the weekend feeling more grounded and restored.

Movement and sport have been an important part of my life for many years. A few years ago, I discovered Pilates by accident when I walked into a studio and tried my first class. I had no idea at the time that this simple decision would eventually lead me in a completely new direction. As I continued practising, my teacher played a huge role in deepening my love for Pilates and helping me see the method in a completely different way. She introduced me not simply to modern Pilates, but to Contrology- to the depth and art behind the method. What started as something I simply enjoyed gradually became something I wanted to understand more deeply. That curiosity led me to study Classical Pilates and complete my training.
Today, I love helping people feel stronger, more confident, more relaxed, and at home in their bodies. I’d love to share this incredible journey with you!

After completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand, Amy moved to Lisbon to share her love for yoga and explore different approaches to wellbeing. Her classes weave together dynamic, breath-led movement, moments of stillness and the opportunity to experiment with longer holds, always encouraging students to meet themselves where they are.
Amy’s warm and inclusive teaching style creates a supportive space to explore with curiosity whilst listening to your body, finding your own rhythm. Alongside her love for mindful movement, she also facilitates sound and energy healing. Her classes are grounded in the ethos that yoga is your own practice and can be a space to cultivate strength, confidence, calm, and connection, both on and off the mat.
