Once participants are settled into a comfortable lying position, the instructor guides them through a series of relaxation techniques to induce a state of deep relaxation and heightened awareness.
As the class progresses, the instructor incorporates the soothing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls into the practice. The resonant tones of the bowls are played in a way that enhance the overall experience and deepening the sense of relaxation.
Throughout the session, participants are encouraged to remain present and attentive to their inner experiences, including sensations, emotions, and thoughts. The combination of Yoga Nidra known as yogic sleep—and the harmonious vibrations of the singing bowls creates a profound sense of calmness and inner stillness.
The instructor may also weave in elements of mindfulness and visualization, guiding participants on a journey of self-discovery and inner healing. The sound of the bowls acts as a catalyst for deepening the meditative state, allowing participants to access deeper layers of consciousness and insight.
As the class comes to a close, participants are gently guided back to a state of wakefulness, feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and more deeply connected to themselves. The experience of Yoga Nidra with Tibetan Singing Bowls offers a powerful pathway to relaxation, self-awareness, and inner transformation.
For a more comfortable and relaxing session, participants are encouraged to bring a pillow, something to cover their eyes and body such as a shawl, and mosquito repellent.
