A simple, restful class for those who need a bit of space in their week. The intention with this weekly class is to provide a space where you can liberate yourself from the demands of our fast paced & overwhelming culture.

A blend of two favourites. Yin Yoga is a slow paced, meditative style of Yoga which is based on traditional Chinese medicine principles. Stretches are held for a while to release physical tension & stimulate the energy system.

Restorative Yoga is stilling and gentle, the class is particularly useful for busy people who are wanting to slow down and bring some ease into their day.

This class is completely suitable for beginners.

Practicing rest regularly is useful for immunity, digestion, menstruation, menopause & the reproductive system.

Rest also benefits social bonding, resilience and energy levels.

In preparation for our new intake of closed group members in the Autumn, we will be hosting two closed group taster session at a discounted rate of £10 where you can come and get a feel for our space and what we offer.

WHAT IS A CLOSED GROUP?

In a closed group you will practice with the same group of people weekly, in a minimum commitment of 4 weeks. This gives you a good chance to create a bond with the group, but we have found that it takes a few months to really settle into the community and build familiarity.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE GROUP?

Each four week phase will explore a different theme, this supports you to develop a devoted practice which is helpful for those who are looking for a deeper practice.

WHY A CLOSED GROUP?

Yoga is designed to be practiced in community and in a consistent format, rather than the odd drop in class now & then. Yoga is such a deep spiritual practice and this format gives you a good chance of really integrating the practices, whilst still in an accessible format for our modern lives.

Community building and sisterhood is so important to us at grow, this is the basis of everything we do and we hope these groups can be a supportive part of your week.
