Welcome to our mini retreat, designed for those who want to develop their connection with womb yoga and cyclical living. Your body is powerful, magical and cyclical, but we often have to over-ride its internal knowing to meet the demands of our culture, leaving us feeling disconnected and disempowered.

This space is open to those in all life stages, ranging from the menstruating years to peri/post menopause. If you have had a hysterectomy, if you currently use hormonal contraception and / or do not have regular bleeds, I encourage you to join. For collective healing to occur, we must welcome all experiences into this space for a rich learning container.

This mini retreat day will be designed for those who are brand new to womb yoga & cyclical living, although it is always fruitful to revisit the foundations even for experienced practitioners. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact elisha@grow-yoga.co.uk.

What is a closed group?

In a closed group, you practice with the same people weekly or monthly. There are no drop in slots, meaning the group should remain fairly consistent over a period of time.

Closed groups are brilliant if you’re wanting to build a sense of familiarity with the group members, or if you’re wanting to create a commitment for yourself.

What is the embodiment monthly group?

This group is a creation born from my training in Yoni Shakti / Womb POWER Yoga Therapy and my initial inspiration and visions from the opening group in the online realm. This group is very much about sisterhood, community, intuition and embodiment.

For all those who want to connect with the cyclical nature of their womb & body. This group is suitable for adults in their menstruating years (even if, for whatever reason, you don’t have a bleed) and for those going through the peri/menopause.

This group will support you to explore the wisdom in the cyclical nature of your body, to lean into and harness the powers of each phase (through the monthly cycle and life cycle), and to do this within a closed group community. I hope that this can lead to a greater feeling of authenticity, connection and confidence for those involved.

I encourage a diverse range of women to join the group, as this will add a richness to the experience for all women. Whilst it’s not essential, you will be encouraged to share during the women’s circles and your unique experience weaves the fabric of our learning! I am purely a facilitator, we are all learning from each other.

All sessions will be unique, but will have familiar elements. Example layout of a session.

1. Introduction of theme & a little bit of education on the body from an embodied perspective e.g. living in rhythm with your menstrual cycle.
2. Yoga Nidra (restful meditation)
3. Sharing circle (a crucial part of women's circles is hearing and honouring the voices in the group, and having the space to share should you wish to)
4. Movement / breathwork / meditation to support the specific theme, and to support your home practice.

Fee £24 per session, for 6 months.

Commitment: This group runs for 6 months so that you can complete a full cycle of lessons & to give us the best chance of creating a community feel.

A yoga class for all Mothers - pregnant people, those with tiny babies and those that had their children many years ago; if you’ve experienced loss or abortion; if you’re a carer. However it is for you to Mother - you are so welcome here. This is a space for you to be tended to and receive care and connection. You are welcome to bring your baby if you need or want to!

This class is designed to support our ever changing bodies as we move through all phases of Motherhood. We rest deeply.

This class is to bring all of our experiences of Motherhood together and there will be variations offered to best support you in the moment.

The small class size makes sure that you receive individual attention.

We support the pelvic floor and core and offer release for constricted areas; we work with the breath to bring a sense of spaciousness and ease. If you’re pregnant all movement will be there to support you and help in the birth of your baby. We believe postpartum care should extend for many years after birth.

Each class finishes with a long period of fully supported rest through the use of props or yoga nidra.

Please note that upon booking, you are consenting for your baby to be part of the class, if you do choose to bring them.

At grow yoga, we value the element of community in Yoga practice. We offer closed groups, where the same group of people practice weekly, to build community and familiarity.

The format is four weeks on, one week off. Every phase, we explore a new theme, helping you to deepen your understanding of yoga.

The fee is £64 per (four week) phase.

Terms of closed groups
1. If you cannot attend a class in a closed groups, unfortunately we cannot offer refunds. In a closed group you are paying for your space, as we cannot advertise the class to the general public when you’re absent.

2. Please give two weeks notice if you would like to drop out of the closed group, so that we have enough time to fill your space.

Beginners are absolutely welcomed!

Welcome to the rested woman monthly closed group. In this closed group, we meet on the 1st Monday of each month, to place rest & community as the start point for the month ahead.

Each session is 90 minutes, allowing you the space to catch up and connect, before heading into a restful practice.

Each month we will explore a new theme or technique.

Please be aware that you are paying for your spot, as well as your attendance. We require payment for last minute cancellations. We require at least two weeks notice if you’re to leave the group, giving us plenty of time to find a new member!

What is therapeutic Yoga?

In a therapeutic Yoga class, the practices are designed specifically to have therapeutic effects for example; stress relief, management of anxiety symptoms or soothing overwhelm. These classes aim to provide a helpful tools and a community, to support your physiological, mental and spiritual health.

Please note that this course is not specific to trauma or mental health needs, if you require more specific support, we recommend Yoga Therapy or the Trauma specific six week course.

What is a closed group?

In a closed group, you practice with the same group of people weekly. There are no drop in slots available, and everyone commits to at least a four week phase. If you want to stay longer, that’s great! If you want to leave - no problem - all we ask for is two weeks notice, so that we can fill your space.

Closed groups are helpful for therapeutic groups as they bring a sense of safety, familiarity and community into the process.

Is the pace and rhythm of modern life starting to feel disconnecting and tiring?

There’s an embodied revolution happening, and so many of us are seeking ways to deepen our connection with ourselves to feel more healthy, less anxious, more confident and more deeply connected to life.

Seriously. We reduce the body to aesthetics or performance but it’s your whole space-suit for travelling, frolicking & experiencing this realm.

It’s important for the human experience, sacred and special. Getting to know this body deeply is a gateway to a fuller experience of life and a deeper knowing of yourself.

Join us for the next four Tuesday evenings. (19.30-20.30) in a women’s only group, to practice reconnecting with your body through the mediums of yoga, somatics & embodiment practices.

This is a really special closed group that fuses Katie’s love of feminine embodiment practices with her skills as a somatic coach and mental health nurse.

For a four week period, you will learn techniques to reconnect with your body, in a safe and familiar group of women.

£64 for 4 weeks.
